We were ordered for a temperature controlled transport of pharmaceutical products from southern Germany to Northern Ireland. The desired temperature should be hold between +15° and +25°C.
As the consignment was subject to security regulations and strict confidentiality, our vehicle should get sealed right at the place of loading and the necessary rest times should only be hold on save parking spaces. Furthermore our customer specified the whole transportation route in detail.
inTime punctually provided the vehicle with already set up temperature of +20°C. Right after the loading our driver locked up the vehicle with certified security seals and additional locks (Tapa-certificated) and documented the particular numbers on the CMR. After checking everything the sender countersigned the data.
At each entry and exit of the ferries, our driver checked the integrity of the seals and locks and recorded the results according to the regulations. The ferries were booked by inTime directly after the order, as spaces for vehicles with running aggregation are limited.
During his driving time break the driver stayed in his specially equipped sleeping cabin in his vehicle on a surveilled parking space, for never leaving the consignment unattended.
After two days the consignment arrived in time at the receiver, who immediately checked the integrity of the seals and locks, documented everything on the CMR and countersigned it. Furthermore he checked the print of the gapless temperature recording throughout the whole transportation process. We received the signed protocols/CMR by email from our driver and immediately forwarded them to our customer. The driver left the point of unloading not before our customer granted us the approval that everything was executed to his full satisfaction.
