In an environment this daunting, it’s no wonder the theme for the 2019 International Supply Chain Conference (ISCC) was “Inspire – Encourage – Act”. It takes people to make things happen: People who make pioneering decisions in companies. People who take action. Or even customers in grocery stores who appreciate what logistics does as Germany’s third-largest economic sector. That is why the initiative “Die Wirtschaftsmacher” (The Business Doers) has cast a spotlight on the people who work in logistics and explains why they are heroes – logistics heroes. inTime has been involved in “Die Wirtschaftsmacher” from the very start.
